Surah Al-Nasr - The Succour

Bism-illah Hir Rahman ir Rahim


1. When Allah's succour and the triumph cometh

2. And thou seest mankind entering the religion of Allah in troops,

3. Then hymn the praises of thy Lord, and seek forgiveness of Him. Lo! He is ever ready to show mercy.

(This Surah is one of the very last revelations having come to the Prophet (saw) only a few weeks before his passing away. Tradition says it was revealed at Mecca during the days the Prophet (saw) spent there during the farewell pilgrimage. This is described in Ibn Hasim as the first announcement that the Prophet (saw) received of his departure from this earth)
